What good fortune for 15 year old me to be ‘discovered’ in Adelaide by a real artist.. who shot fashion almost as a sideline and felt like a living embodiment of the 60’s, in the style of Richard Avedon and Irving Penn. Years later even when all my work was overseas, I always came back to shoot.. and the magical shots always seemed to happen late when the real shoot was over, and there was time to play with light and experiment.
