These looks were done incorporating the khaki and mushroom tones of the Look 2012 eyeshadow duos, eyeliners, lip colours and illuminating powder. They’re light and neutral enough for a subtle day look, and easily built up for sultry nights. Still available for a limited time from Dr Hauschka. I discovered New York-based Olsenhaus when searching for stylish vegan shoes in LA a couple of years ago. They really stood out in terms of style and quality, and the more I discovered about the company the more hooked – ok, obsessed – I became. Even now, ethical practice within the shoe industry at large is basically unheard of, and Elizabeth Olsen is doing what she can to change that. Environmental and welfare concerns aside, I never get so many comments on any shoes […]
We shot this campaign on a heavenly spring day in the idyllic surrounds of Neilsen Park. It was incredibly meaningful for me to be able to do a campaign for Dr Hauschka, an amazing skincare company on so many levels and one that I had been passionate about for a long time.
Pleasure State do some beautiful lingerie and were nice enough to give us some pieces, for a super fun series of pics in the style of ‘The Graduate’. Thanks for the inspiration, Anne Bancroft – they sure don’t make them like you anymore. lingerie:PleasureState photography:Adrian Alston/hair&makeup:Bonita Chan

The Translucent Make-up is the only foundation that actually makes my skin better instead of freaking it out. Even if I occasionally fall asleep with it still on… You can buy the Beauty Bag at David Jones stores nationwide and […]
Vintage has been an utter and consuming obsession since my early teens – I think when my incredibly fashionable Grandma Jo gave me an original Pucci gown she found at a garage sale, I was hooked for good. And with current mass overproduction, environmental pollutants and factory wages around the globe dipping below the poverty line, investing in vintage fashion and accessories makes more sense than ever. What good fortune for 15 year old me to be ‘discovered’ in Adelaide by a real artist.. who shot fashion almost as a sideline and felt like a living embodiment of the 60’s, in the style of Richard Avedon and Irving Penn. Years later even when all my work was overseas, I always came back to shoot.. and the magical shots always seemed to happen late when the real shoot was over, and there was time to play with light and […]
